![]() Hi, yes, I recollect a 'my computer' icon somewhere in my digital past but this version of Win 7 professional edition has no such icon and I have looked EVERYWHERE and nowhere can I find an icon or a 'my computer' folder.I am hoping tech gets back and suggest an alternative. This will open the Logs directory/folder containing the log files of Evernote. It actually means that you should open the Windows Explorer (in a standard Windows Installation there is a "My Computer" icon and a double click will open the explorer) and paste the text "%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Evernote\Evernote\Logs" or "%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Logs" into the navigation bar. I look forward to hearing from you so we can get it resolved! My apologies again for any inconvenience this issue may be causing. We will make every effort to protect the privacy of any information found in this log, but feel free to edit the file to remove anything you do not want to send us. For example, the titles of some of your notes may be mentioned in this log file. After you are done, open WhatsApp again and check whether it is crashing or freezing. Next, toggle off notifications for messages, calls, etc. Click on Notifications from the left pane. The Activity Log may contain some information about your account and your notes. This is how you disable WhatsApp notifications: Open the WhatsApp desktop app and click the Settings button at the bottom left corner. Please attach the most recent files to a reply to this email. ![]() %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Evernote\Evernote\Logs %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Evernote\Evernote\Logs Can you please attempt to recreate the problem you are experiencing, and then open the "My Computer" tool from Windows and paste the following into the "browser" bar: 5) If the computer is a custom computer then temporarily modify the bios boot order to boot to the external USB HD. 4) Power on the computer and click the applicable F key to boot to the bios boot menu. In order to pinpoint the problem, the first thing I'd like to do is to gather an activity log from you. 3) Insert the bootable windows 10 iso flash drive into any USB port. ![]() I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with your Evernote application I can help you with this! Thank you for contacting Evernote Support. Since you're such a helpful guy, I thought I would reach out to you. I cannot for the life of me find a "my computer tool. Hi Gazumped, I submitted a ticket to support and received this reply from Alex in tech support, I presume. Here are some steps you might try to resolve the crashing issue: 1. (Backup your database first, and have a search around here for more detailed instructions on that if you need them.) Any current notes you have created should not be affected by the reinstall, and will be available as soon as you log in again. If you're a free user that can take a few days, so meanwhile you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the software - use Revo Uninstaller (free download) to remove the current software completely, and then download and install the latest version. Thank you very much in advance for your help.Submitting a report from a crash is just to help developers work on improving the app if you want assistance, raise a support request (see below). I have also attached to printscreen from the reliability window in W11 + one report from the software "WhoCrashed".Īny ideas ? Any tool to diagnostic where the problem stems from ? I have also noticed that the CPU is at 100% while WBPP is running (don't know whether it's a normal behavior or not). Meanwhile, I have also checked that my drivers are up to date (which seems to be the case). I am really lost, and I hope that somebody can chime in. I get the blue screen from Windows 11 and the PC restarts after a few seconds. Step 2: If the issue does not occur in safe mode, boot your system in a clean boot state (in normal mode) to troubleshoot the issue. ![]() See Advanced startup options (including safe mode) for instructions on booting into safe mode with networking. However, since this morning (it also happened a few times in the past), my PC keep crashing while running WBPP. Step 1: Boot into safe mode with networking and see if the issue persists. I built a brand-new PC two months ago and so far I am quite happy with it.
